Intuitive Food Therapy (IFT) is different from traditional treatments for eating disorders and eating problems. Alongside Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E), Nutritional Therapy and Coaching, IFT focuses on a mind-body health approach to food and eating and emphasises the reconnection between the food we eat, how we feel and think about it, and how it makes our body feel.
By allowing your body and mind to re-connect, you will intuitively know what is medicine for your body and what is not useful to you. During IFT, you will be tackling the factors that are keeping you stuck in unhelpful eating patterns and learning to move past them. You will learn to overcome the inner critic that fuels your eating problems and body image issues, so that you can live in peace with your body and with food.
