Following your in-depth health and eating history assessment, I will listen to help make sense of the problem and what may be keeping the ED/DE active in your life. Together, we will deal with fear of change and the motivation to recover alongside unhelpful or incorrect information about food, appetite and weight to start the process of healing, using safe and proven skills.

Following the Food Therapy Breakthrough program, additional or ongoing specialist 1:1 support can be arranged, either as one-off sessions or on a regular basis.
My Recover and Thrive Program gives you the best possible chance for lasting change, however, a bespoke program with sessions set to your needs, goals and frequency, may be the way forward if you would like a more individualised approach.

The Recover & Thrive program gives you the best possible chance to make long-lasting recovery from eating disorders and problem eating. The program consists of over 13 hours, or 12 weekly/bi-weekly 1:1 sessions over a 3-6 month period and includes the following:-


Initial, in-depth Consultation to review your specific eating problem and to take a detailed health history.

Life-Line session to deepen the understanding of your unique challenges, triggers and blocks. We work together to uncover your life story, your struggles and your hopes and dreams for the future.

These sessions lay the foundation for your recovery. When you have a safe environment to talk through reflections and work through powerful coaching exercises, change takes root. We will develop collaboratively agreed-upon goals and actionable steps to take forward each week. You’ll be encouraged to move at your own pace and will be supported every step of the way.

Working through tough thoughts “on paper,” helps strengthen your learning, while developing tools you can refer back to. Written exercises and reflections also add an additional layer of support and reinforcement and weekly feedback will be given to help foster your growth. You’ll also have a daily log to record your thoughts so you can work through challenges with me, as they arise.

During recovery, it’s important that you never feel stuck when questions come up. By having email, text and Whatsapp access to your eating disorder recovery specialist (Monday to Friday) you are constantly supported between sessions. You will always have someone there to talk things through, to overcome hurdles as they arise and to celebrate wins with you throughout the week!
